Julia Davis lived in Guildford until the age of 14, from where she and her parents moved to Bath. After graduating from College of Ripon and York St. John, she returns to work at the West Country Comedy troupe with Rob Brydon and Ruth Jones. Her career as a comedian and screenwriter is taking off after meeting Steve Coogan, who invited her to his show.
Julia Davis has starred in many English comedy series, including I'm Alan Partridge, Big Train, Gavin & Stacey, House of Fear Dr. Terrible's House of Horrible, Human Remains: The Fonte Bund Band, The Office.
In 2004, the TV series "Good night" (Nighty Night), for which she wrote the script, was released. He was immediately noticed by critics and received the British Comedy Awards for Best New Comedy and was also nominated for several British Television Academy Awards.
