speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese. She attended California Lutheran University with a degree in psychology and an elective in sociology.
Shortly after graduation, she returned home with her parents and took acting lessons. In May 2013, it was announced that Santos would be joining the cast of the new series, The Fosters. She starred in the 2014 horror film Ouiji and as Lucy Velez in the original MTV show Happyland. In 2016, she returned to The Fosters.
