Anderson has appeared in four episodes of Twin Peaks. A person from elsewhere (also called the Dwarf) wore a red suit and had a strange pronunciation. To do this, Anderson used reverse pronunciation - it was the "secret language" adopted among his friends in elementary school. The phrases spoken backwards were scrolled in reverse in the film, which gave such a strange phonetic effect. The midget also appeared in the prequel to the TV series, Twin Peaks: Fire Come With Me .
