American actress.
Findlay was born in Washington, DC, and graduated from New York University, where she became a close friend and roommate of actress Viola Davis during her studies. She then began her career in the theater scene, and in the meantime she appeared on the HBO series The Wire and was a guest on Law & Order and Brothers and Sisters. From 2010 to 2013, Findlay starred in the HBO series Trimay .
On the big screen, Findlay appeared in Ava Duvernay's Halfway to Nowhere. In 2014, she landed the lead role in the independent film Free in Deed and played the wife of Kevin Hart in the Comedy Comedy. Later in 2014, Findlay landed a co-star on the Oprah Winfrey Network's If Loving You Wrong.
