Born February 12, 1971 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sydney. In 1995 she made her debut in the musical film "Billy's Holiday", then starred in the series "Water Rats", "All Saints" and "Call of the Assassin." In 1997, she played a minor role in the film "Black Rock" .
In 1998, she starred in Babe: Pig in the City, which won numerous awards and was nominated for an Oscar in the Best Music category. In the same year she starred in the drama film Praise, for her role in which she won the Australian Academy of Film Award for Best Actress. Gruvemuvestart
