In 2008, he brilliantly showed himself at the casting in the musical "Jekyll and Hyde" and got the main role. In the same year, he starred in a movie, which won the hearts and the audience.

In 2009, Hong Kwang Ho was cast in the musical "The Phantom of the Opera" and was cast as Raoul. His vocal and acting skills also allowed him to become a stunt double for Yun Young Suk and Yang Jun Mo, two Phantoms of the Opera. Vocally, Hong Kwang Ho is in no way inferior to them. His Phantom is gentle and enthusiastic, he enthusiastically discovers new musical horizons and calls Christina to them. He does not seduce her with the secrets of the night, he carries her to the peaks and stars.

In 2011, Hong Kwang Ho was nominated for the "5th Korean Music Awards" and performed at the awards ceremony.
