Born June 21, 1987, Saint-Genis, Haute-Vienne was elected runner-up at the Miss France 2007 pageant. She represented the Limousin region.
Sophie is born weak in hearing. She became the first participant with a hearing impairment to reach the final in the Miss France pageant. She communicates using sign language. Currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in accounting. Sophie was in the lead in the popular vote, according to Genevieve de Fontenay, former head of the Miss France committee, but at the end another finalist, Rachelle Legrain-Trapani, won the jury vote, which counts two-thirds of the final score, with 1 more vote. Rachelle Legrain-Trapani received the title of Miss France 2007.
Vouzlot asked for the support of Miss France 2007, Rachelle Legrain-Trapani, and she agreed to give her a place in the Miss World pageant, but the organizers of the pageant refused her this request.
Sophie competed for a prize in Miss International 2007 on October 25 in Japan against another participant with hearing impairments, Vanessa Peretti from Venezuela. Peretti went to the Top 15, Wouzlot did not take any place.
