Anna-Margarita Grauer (Ona's real name) was born in Mexico City (Mexico) to a family of German, Norwegian and Hungarian descent. Ona's mother was a caterer. As a child, Grauer moved with her family to Canada and grew up in Nelson, British Columbia.
She made her film debut in 1996, playing the role of Debra in the Love of the Gods episode of the TV series Slip. In 2004, Grauer played the role of Sandy in Catwoman. In total, she played in 58 films and television series.
