Born May 27, 1957 in Glendale (California, USA) in the family of Will Bothfield, who once bought a horse from William Shatner. Chelsea started her career as a dancer and in 1983 she was a dancer in Pure Gold .
In 1985, Chelsea made her film debut, playing the role of Randy in Perfect. In total, Field has starred in 51 films and television series.
Since 2009, Chelsea has been married to actor Scott Bakula (born 1954), with whom she lived for 15 years before their wedding. The couple have two sons - Wil Botfield Bakula (born 1995) and Owen Barrett Bakula (born 1999).
