Born April 13, 1988 - American actress, screenwriter and producer.
In 2010, she graduated from Yale University and at the end of the year got a role in the TV series "Girls" by Lina Dunham, which premiered in the spring of 2012. While at Yale, she played for 4 years in the comedy improvisation theater Just Add Water and was featured in the College Musical series of Saint Elmo's Secret Student Society, which was posted on YouTube.
She received good reviews from critics for her role in Girls, and in 2013 was one of the top nominees for an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. In addition to this, she appeared in several episodes of the sitcom Mindy Project in 2013.
In 2010, Williams appeared in a video mashup for the title track of the Mad Men series Nature Boy, which became very popular on the Internet. He became one of the reasons for taking her for the role in Girls.
Since September 19, 2015, Allison has been married to entrepreneur Ricky Van Win, whom she dated for 4 years before their wedding.
