Born May 28, 1983 - American television actress.
Her great-grandfather was the head of the tribe and Echikanwoke is technically considered an African princess. After the death of her father, she and her mother moved to Chinle, Arizona. In the late 1990s, she settled in Los Angeles, where she began her career in television. In 2001, she was a core member of MTV's teen soap opera Spyder Games.
Echikanwoke is best known for her regular roles on the series 4400 and CSI: Miami Crime Scene. On the big screen, Echikanwoke has appeared in The Fix (2008), Girls in Danger (2011) and Die Hard: A Good Day to Die (2013). In 2012, she starred in the closed series "Made in Jersey" after two episodes, and previously had minor roles in the series "90210: The New Generation" and "Abode of Lies". In early 2013, she landed another regular role in the ABC series A Beautiful Mind, which was also canceled after several episodes.
In 2015, Echikanwoke took on the title role in the animated series Vixen. She later reprized this role in the TV series Arrow. Also in 2016, she took on the lead female lead on the A&E series Damien.
