Graduated from Columbia University with a degree in English Literature and attended the University of Southern California where he earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in screenwriting.
He made his debut in 1994. Maslow writes the scripts with Terry Edna Miller, his wife and regular contributor.
Won the Nikkola Brotherhood Award for his work on the screenplay for Pirates of Dashing .
Apogee, a space travel-based script he wrote shortly after, sold for $ 500,000.
Then he wrote scripts for the films "The Airplane of the President", "The End of the World" and "The Invisible Man" .
He also wrote unscreened scripts for Hammer, Alien Prison and Western directed by Harrison Ford and John Woo.
Edward Marlowe is currently the executive producer and writer of the series "Castle", which he created, and is also developing for the ABC channel a new series about the detective Marlowe by writer Raymond Chandler.
