After graduating from high school, he served at the Air Force Academy, then entered the University of Southern California and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater. James Leger also studied in the UK, at the University of Kent in Canterbury, where he also appeared in the plays "Hair" and "The Island". Among his other stage work, it is worth noting his collaboration with a professional theater company in Los Angeles, and in particular - the role of Macduff in Shakespeare's great tragedy Macbeth.
