In 1967-1971, Anna Wyazemsky studied at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Paris-X in Nanterre. She first appeared in films as a non-professional actress in the film by Robert Bresson "Random Balthazar" (1966).
The film "Chinese Woman" (1967) marked the beginning of a professional and personal relationship with Jean-Luc Godard, whose wife Vyazemsky was until 1979. The flyer, read out on the tape, calling for the sabotage of exams, was indeed co-authored by her with Daniel Cohn-Bendit and Jean-Pierre Duteuil, with whom she was associated with the radical left student movement in Nanterre.
She also starred in the films of Pier Paolo Pasolini, Marco Ferreri, Andre Tesine. As a director, she has directed several documentaries, including Daniel Darrieux. Life in Cinema "(2007).
