Born July 19, 1984 in England. Alessandra's mother is Filipino, and her father is Italian. She has an older sister, Asunta de Rossi. Almost immediately after the birth of Alessandra, her family moved to Italy. She began her acting career in 1991, when she played the role of April in the TV series Remember Me. In an interview, the actress admitted that she often envied her sister, as Assunta began acting in films several years earlier.
In 2000, when Alessandra was 16 years old, she won the Philippine Academy of Motion Picture Arts Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Azucena. Rossi later appeared in the films Quiet Voices and Homecoming. In 2005, Alessandra played the role of housekeeper Rosa in Calvin Tong's horror film The Maid .
The next films in which the actress took part were "Independence", "Manila", "Philippine Sunday". In 2016, Alessandra starred in the biopic Invincible Manny Pacquiao.
