Born September 16, 1973 - American film director, producer, and screenwriter.
Prior to his directing career, Williams worked as a journalist for TV Nation, ABC News, NBC News, CNN, PBS, Comedy Centra and Sundance Channel .
In 2010, Williams directed an Oscar-winning short documentary entitled Music of Prudence. Roger Williams became the first African American director to receive an Academy Award.
