Born March 17, 1958, Humboldt, Iowa, USA - American film and television actor.
He grew up in a family of pharmacists.
As a child, worked as a peddler for The Des Moines Register. After receiving secondary education, he entered the Phillips Academy, then, without completing it, at Harvard College, which he graduated in 1980, and then studied at the Yale School of Drama (graduated in 1984). After graduating, Clemenson moved to Los Angeles, and in 1985 made his television debut with a small role in an episode of the series "Glory".
In 2006, he won a Primetime Emmy Award for Best Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role in the series Boston Lawyers. In 2007, he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Best Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role in the series Boston Lawyers. In 2008, he was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Performance by a Cast in a Drama Series for his role in the series Boston Lawyers.
