Born July 2, 1956 in the town of Gonzales, Texas. At the age of 16, she left her parental home and moved to Paris. Without knowing anyone in the city, she managed to quickly achieve success in the fashion industry. Hall rented an apartment with Grace Jones and Jessica Lange, with whom she posed for the illustrator Antonio Lopez, who worked with the largest fashion publications. Jerry also owes her career success to Helmut Newton, who photographed her for the cover of Vogue. By the age of 21, Hall had appeared on the covers of this magazine more than forty times.
In the second half of the 1970s, Hall was a frequent visitor to the famous nightclub Studio 54, where prominent artists such as Michael Jackson, Woody Allen and Debbie Harry gathered. During this period, she repeatedly posed for the artist Andy Warhol. In 1975, Hall starred for the cover of the Siren album by the musical group Roxy Music. In the 1980s, Jerry began acting in films and television series, playing mostly small roles, such as Alicia Hunt in Tim Burton's Batman. In 1990, Hall made a successful debut at the West End Theater with the lead female role in the production of Bus Stop (played by Marilyn Monroe in the 1956 film adaptation).
