Born August 9, 1965, New York is an American television and film director and screenwriter.

Shoots TV series and feature films. He was awarded an Emmy for the TV series Ugly Betty (the Russian counterpart is the TV series Don't Be Born Beautiful). Shepard's film "House of Hemingway" is also known with Jude Law, Emilia Clarke and Damian Bishir in the lead roles.
