She graduated from the Danish National Theater School in 1996, and first appeared on the screen two years earlier.
Of the more than 30 works of the actress in film and television, the most notable were her roles in the films Flammen & Citronen, En k?rlighedshistorie, Prague, and Don't Fear Me. (Den du frygter) and the series "Spider" (Edderkoppen), "Summer" (Sommer), "Above Suspicion: Deadly Intent" .
Stine Stengade's performance in the drama Love Story, staged according to the canons of the Dogma 95 movement, won the Danish National Film Award Bodil, the Danish Film Academy Robert Award and the Platinum Prize at the Viareggio Film Festival (Italy).
