Born December 1, 1958 - American actress and singer.
She began her career with a cameo in the sitcom Happy Days, and made her big screen debut in 1976, with a supporting role in the teenage comedy Freaky Friday opposite Jodie Foster. She later appeared with a cameo role in Big Wednesday .
In 1978, Tilton landed the role of the cunning and evil Lucy Ewing in the television series Dallas. Tilton reprized her role for the first eight seasons, and left the series in 1985. She returned at the end of the eleventh season in 1988 and was one of the main characters in the twelfth season. Tilton eventually left the show once again in April 1990. She also guest-starred on his 1980 spin-off, Quiet Marina. For this role, Tilton won the 1980 Young Actor Award for Best Actress in Television. In 2000, she received a Special Career Achievement Award as a Young Artist. In addition to this, she, along with other major actors, received the German Bambi Award in 1987, and in 2006 she received a special award from TV Land for her contribution to popular culture. In the wake of Dallas's success, Tilton has appeared on the covers of more than five hundred magazines around the world, and by the mid-eighties she was receiving 50 thousand for each episode of the series, up from fifteen thousand in the first season. As a singer, she achieved fame in Europe with the single "C'est La Vie", which was released in 1978 and charted in a number of countries, including Germany's top chart. In 1981, she reached the peak of her fame, performing parodies on the hit show Saturday Night Live.
Tilton left Dallas for the first time in 1985, as she tried to move away from her image. However, she returned to the show three years later and stayed on for another two years. After the end of the show, her career began to decline, and nothing remained of the money she earned due to unsuccessful investments. Another setback for her was the theft of her savings by the accountant Tilton, and the actress was left practically penniless. In the 1990s, she starred in a number of commercials and also appeared on various television shows as herself, such as Married ... with Children. Tilton has also appeared in a number of parody films, including The Silence of the Ham and Superhero Movie. Tilton's acting career dwindled and she mostly starred in low-budget or made-for-television films in the decade after Dallas. Tilton returned to her role as Lucy Ewing in the eponymous sequel to Dallas, which premiered in June 2012. In the revamped show, her character's screen time is limited mainly to rare comedic appearances.
