She began her career in musical theater and has also recorded several soundtracks for films such as "Rachel, Rachel" with Joan Woodward. In 1971 she made her screen debut in Death Trap opposite Faye Dunaway. The following year, she appeared in the film Dear Louise. After that, she primarily worked in the theater.
Larson starred in the soap operas How the World Turns, One Life to Live, and Santa Barbara before joining the cast of All My Children in 1989, which earned her two Emmy nominations. ". She also appeared in The White Flurry, The Living Trail, If The World Were Mine and Isle of the Damned.
