Born September 18, 1974, New York - American actress. Rutherford is best known for her role as Christine Hunter on the sitcom The New Adventures of Old Christine, where she co-starred with Julia Louis-Dreyfus for five seasons, from 2006 to 2010.
Born and raised in New York, Rutherford graduated with a BA from the University of Southern California in 1997. In addition to starring in Old Christine's New Adventures, she starred in the short-lived sitcoms Work with Me with Nancy Travis, The Ellen Show with Ellen DeGeneres, and Married to the Kellys, each canceled after one season.
On the big screen, Rutherford played supporting roles in The King of the Parties (2002), Elizabethtown (2005) and Blood and Sweat: Anabolics (2013). In recent years, she has appeared in the series Beautiful to Death, All Night Long and Raising Hope.
