Born August 6, 1980, Greenville, South Carolina, USA - American stand-up comedian, screenwriter, actor and producer.
Skovel was a very active child, playing a lot of football, basketball and tennis.
In 2003 Rory graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in communications. In parallel with his studies, he played football for all 4 years. A year later, he decided to devote himself entirely to the stand-up genre.
Rory's first stand-up album was released in 2011. The Huffington Post included it in their Guide to New Comedy Albums of the Year.
In 2012, Variety included Kovel in its list of "10 Must-See Comedians".
