Shooting in the film "The Shawshank Redemption" in 1994, the actor brought wide popularity to the actors Tim Robbinson and Morgan Freeman, his brother. Alfonso Freeman is an accomplished and character actor, playing one of the main roles in the dramatic comedy Until I Played in the Box, Rob Reiner, opposite Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. Alfonso has been married twice and has three children.
