Born September 8, 1945, Los Angeles, California, USA - American screenwriter and director.
In the early 1970s, together with his wife and co-author Gloria Katz, they began collaborating with George Lucas, in particular, they co-wrote the script for the film American Graffiti, for which they were awarded the National Society of Film Critics of the USA and were nominated for an Oscar. Also, together with Gloria Katz, they wrote the screenplay for Steven Spielberg's grossing adventure film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
