Born on July 22, 1963; Norfolk, Virginia - American actor and director.
Before taking up acting, Rob studied to be a stuntman. One of the first roles of the actor - Glen Gallagher in the TV series "Days of Our Lives" (filmed from 1986 to 1987 and 1999 to 2000). Soon, the actor got the role that made him famous - Sergeant Chris Lorenzo in the cult detective series "Silk Nets", where he played the main role from 1991 to 1995, along with his partner Mitzi Captche, who played the main female role.
In 1993, he received a guest role of Seth Towler in the Fox soap opera about modern yuppies - Melrose Place, but 3 years later the authors returned the actor to the show, but created a new character for him - Kyle McBride, whom Estes played since 1996 until the show closed in 1999.
This was followed by guest appearances on shows such as Providence, The Unpredictable Susan, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and The Twilight Zone. Estes also appeared in Gilmore Girls, an episode intended to pilot a spin-off in which Estes would star alongside Milo Ventimiglia and Sherilyn Fenn. However, the project was not implemented due to funding problems.
Along the way, Estes played in the theater - in the productions "At the same time" (2004) and "Lake" (2005). In 2008, the actor received the lead male role in the youth series "90210: The New Generation" - the second after "Melrose Place" spin-off of the cool youth drama "Beverly Hills, 90210" - this is the third time the actor returned to the franchise. Harry Wilson is the father of the main characters and the new director of West Beverly Hills School. In fact, he is the only older male character in the first season to represent the parents. On January 20, 2010, after filming for two seasons of the show, the actor left the series after his agent was unable to negotiate new contract terms for the third season with the producers, including an increase in royalties.
