Born April 10, 1981, Euclid, Ohio, USA is an American actress and country singer.
made her local theater debut at the age of nine. In 1995 she appeared in the film Jumanji, and in 1999-2001 she starred in the soap opera Guiding Light.
In 2002, Laura Bell Bundy made her Broadway debut in the musical Hairspray. After Christine Chenoweth left, Bundy got the role of Glinda, the main character of the musical "Evil", in which she performed until August 2004. Her real breakthrough was her starring role in Legally Blonde (2007-2008), which earned her a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical. Next she appeared in the musicals "The Sound of Music" and "Gypsy", as well as the Los Angeles show "Rock of Ages" with Betty Buckley.
Bundy released her debut independent album in 2007, but her real debut in the music business came in 2010 with the release of the country album Achin and Shakin on a major label.
