Born April 5, 1952 - American actor.
His father's work was associated with frequent moving, the Pileggi family lived in Texas, California, and also for a long time in Turkey. At school, Mitch played football and wrestling. Graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, worked under a contract in Iran until the Islamic Revolution forced him and his brother to flee to Greece, from where they later returned to the United States.
Mitch's first wife was Debbie Andrews (1978-1983), the second in 1996 was Arlene Warren. In 1998, they had a daughter, Sawyer. Later, in "The X-Files", Erlene played the cameo role of Walter Skinner's secretary, and in episode 20 of season 7 she played the role of an FBI agent, similar to Dana Scully (Woman who looks likes Scully).
