Born September 16, 1960 - American actress.
She graduated from Duke University with a BA in 1982. She made her debut in 1987 with a small role in Superman 4: Struggle for Peace and in the following years had regular television and film work.
Brooke is best known for her role as Dr. Diana Grad in the television series Chicago Hope, where she starred from 1995 to 1999 and received three Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. On the big screen, Brooke is best known for her role in the 1997 film Gattaca, and has also had notable roles in Kindergarten Cop, Not a Word to Mom About Nanny Death and Virgin Memory. On television, she also starred in the short-lived series Sirens in 1993, and was also part of the ensemble cast for the drama Rayon in 2000-2002. In addition, Brooke played one of the main roles in the series "John Doe" in 2002-2003.
Brooke has been a guest on many television series, including LA Law, Sports Night, Grey's Anatomy, Boston Lawyers, NCIS Special Department, Brothers and Sisters, and Castle. She also had a recurring role in the series Private Practice in 2008.
