Born April 23, 1985, Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Canadian actress.
She has a younger brother. Rachel trained at the Royal Academy of Dance for 12 years and attended the Claude Watson School for the Arts in grades 4-12. There she majored in the visual arts and played the cello.
An agent spotted her at a memorial service for her father, and landed regular roles in shows such as Little Men before landing her first major role on Warner Brothers' Birds of Prey .
After filming in Los Angeles was completed, she returned to Canada where she earned a double degree in English Literature and Classics from the prestigious Queens University in Kingston, Ontario.
After completing her studies, Skarsten starred in the series Mind Reader and Hot Spot, and also starred in Canadian independent films, Servitude and Two Hands to Mouth .
In her spare time, Rachel loves to be involved in everything that concerns hockey. She was the goalkeeper for Midget AA Leaside Wildcats in high school and currently continues to make a name for herself playing for the local hockey league film crew.
