Born February 28, 1947 - English actress.
Soon after birth, it became known that she was unable to hear in her right ear due to the fact that her mother had chickenpox during pregnancy. Because of this, she decided to become a dance instructor for deaf children, but after that she was offered to become a model. Beecham graduated from Catholic school and studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
Stephanie Beecham has appeared in over eighty films and television shows throughout her career. She first achieved widespread fame in 1971 for her female lead in Aliens of the Night opposite Marlon Brando. The following year, she starred in the film Dracula, the year 1972. The actress spent most of the seventies playing baddies on television and low-budget films like Planet Horror and Super Bitch, trying to replicate the success of Joan Collins' film Bitch. From 1981 to 1982, she starred in the TV series Tenko about a group of women prisoners of war, and then played the main role in the TV series Connie .
In 1985, Stephanie Beecham moved to America to play the role of Sable Colby, the main villain of the Colby Family television series, a spin-off of Dynasty. Although the series had a large budget at the time and famous actors, its ratings were not high and the project was canceled after two seasons. Beacham then joined The Dynasty, playing the antagonist for Joan Collins' heroine Alexis Colby. After the end of Dynasty, she continued to appear actively on the screens in the roles of villains, especially in such TV series as Beverly Hills 90210 and Charmed, produced by Aaron Spelling. In 1993-1994 she starred in the TV series Underwater Odyssey, produced by Steven Spielberg. In the early 2000s, she returned to England, where she mainly starred on television.
