Born September 19, 1964, Mineola, New York - American actress and producer.
She has a younger sister - Kyle Richards (born 1969), an actress. Richards also has an older half-sister from her mother's first marriage to Laurence Avanzino (1935-1997) - Katie Hilton (born 1959), also an actress. Businesswoman Paris Hilton (b. 1981) and Nicky Hilton (b. 1983) - her nieces, daughter of her older half-sister Katie.
Richards rose to fame starring with Juliet Mills in the sitcom The Nurse and the Professor (1970-71). She then dreamed of in the sitcoms Here We Go Again (1973), James at 15 (1977-78) and Hello, Larry (1979-80), and also appeared on many other television shows in the 1970s. In the 1980s, she tried unsuccessfully to launch a career as a leading actress, appearing in films such as Wall to Wall (1985).
