Born April 10, 1988 Los Angeles, USA - American actor.
Sister - famous actress and singer Emily Osment. He inspired his sister to choose an acting career. At the age of 5, he became the advertising face for Pizza Hut. Soon he was noticed by the famous director Robert Zemeckis. He cast Haley in the acclaimed film Forrest Gump (1994), where he played Forrest Gump, Jr.
After Forrest, Haley was invited to the movies. First it was the film "Lies of the Heart" (1994), then the TV series "Thunder Alley" (1994) and several more films. His comedic skills emerged at an early age, and two other comedy series followed after Storm Walk. Norman Jewison gave Haley her first leading role on the big screen in Bogus (1996) .
Prior to Sixth Sense, Haley auditioned for the role of Anakin Skywalker in the sequel to Star Wars .
In The Sixth Sense (1999), the young actor's performance impressed the audience. His excellent rendition of Cole Sire, Who Sees the Souls of Dead People, earned him an Oscar nomination at the age of 11 and a memorable tribute of admiration from winner Michael Kane.
Sometime later, he showed the same powerful performance in the film "Pay Another" (2000), which also starred Oscar winners Helen Hunt and Kevin Spacey. Steven Spielberg's futuristic tale Artificial Intelligence (2001), starring Hayley and Jude Law, was released on June 29, 2001.
Osment has also proven himself as a voice actor: his voice is used by Sora, the protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series.
