Born June 7, 1991 - American model and actress.
Has Polish, Jewish, English, Irish and German roots. Her mother is a professor and writer, Emily described her as a "feminist and intellectual." Emily grew up in Encinitas, California. As a child, she traveled to many parts of Europe, living for a long time in Bantry in Ireland and Mallorca in Spain.
At the age of 14, Ratajkowski signed a contract with the Ford Models modeling agency. She combined her studies at school in San Diego (California) with work as a model in Los Angeles. Emily studied fine arts for a year at the University of California, Los Angeles, after which she decided to devote herself entirely to modeling.
After signing a contract with Ford Models, Ratajkowski worked with clothing brands Forever 21 and Nordstrom, but rose to prominence in the modeling business after shooting several photo shoots with photographer Tony Duran. In 2009-2010, Emily played the role of Tasha in the series "iCarly" on Nickelodeon.
In August 2012, Ratajkowski co-starred with Sarah Jean Underwood in an ad for the fast food chain Carl's Jr. In 2013, Emily starred in two music videos: "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke and "Love Somebody" by Maroon 5. Shooting topless in "Blurred Lines" made her famous. YouTube initially banned the explicit version of the video, but later returned it.
Ratajkowski started acting more and appeared nude on the cover of Treats! Magazine, which she associates with filming in two sensational videos. She has worked with photographers such as Tony Kelly, with whom she starred for the cover of Turkish GQ.
In May 2016, she starred in Dima Bilan's video "Indivisible".
