Born September 12, 1967), better known by his pseudonym Louis CK, is an American stand-up comedian, screenwriter, producer and director. Immediately after his birth, the Szekei moved to Mexico City. Louis's first language is Spanish. After the family returned to Washington, when Louis was seven, he decided he wanted to become a comedian and screenwriter. When he was ten, his parents divorced. His mother raised him and three other children alone.
After leaving school, he worked as a car mechanic in Boston. His first performance took place in 1984. After that, he gave up stand-up for two years.
