Born January 1, 1955, New York, USA - American writer, screenwriter and actor.
Graduated from Bowdoin College in 1976. Then he spent a year at Trinity College (Dublin). In 1977 he opened a theater company with a friend. He also worked at the Abbey Theater's second house, The Peacock. At the age of 28, he left The Peacock to devote time to creativity.
After several radio plays for the BBC and one play for The Peacock (Send Lawyers, Guns and Money), Kennedy wrote the travel novel Beyond the Pyramids.
Douglas Kennedy is the author of action-packed novels that have been translated into 22 languages ??and filmed.
