Born April 15, 1947 - American actress and fashion model.
After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, in 1970 she signed with the agency of Wilhelmina Cooper, and two years later made her debut as an actress in the film "Together Forever." The following year, she starred in Two Hearts Meeting with Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford. She then starred in The Great Gatsby with Redford and Mia Farrow, and in 1978 she starred in the film Death on the Nile, an adaptation of Agatha Christie's novel of the same name.
Lois Chiles is best known for her role as James Bond's girlfriend, Dr. Holly Goodhead, in the 1979 movie Moon Rider. Despite the success, her career in subsequent years was unsuccessful and the actress played mostly supporting roles in such films as Sweet Freedom (1986), Television News (1987), The Tornado (1989), The Babysitter ( 1995), Clotted Blood (1995) and Make a Wish (1996). She also starred in the 1987 horror film Horror Kaleidoscope 2. In addition, Chiles has appeared on several television shows, the most famous of which is "Dallas", where the actress played the role of Holly Harwood, Jay's mistress from 1982-1983.
