Born October 26, 1972, New Brunswick, Canada - Canadian filmmaker and artist.
Munroe has done a great job in animation over the past decade, working on video games, TV series and comics. He has worked on design on animation projects for the Jim Henson Company, Stan Winston Studios, Shiny Entertainment, Disney, Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon.
Munroe began his career as a storyboard artist at Nickelodeon, working on the TV series Hey Arnold !. He also wrote, wrote and produced Christmas Special Donner for ABC Family and TV Loonland. Munroe made his first directorial debut while working on the game Freaky Flyers. He also wrote a critical review for Dark Horse Comics' El Zombo Fantasma comic series, which he co-authored with Dave Wilkins, and was also involved with the creation of Olympus Heights for IDW Publishing.
In March 2005, Imagi Animation Studios signed him to direct the movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2007), with a 2007 release date. Kevin Munroe also planned to direct the Science Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, but soon gave up.
Munroe directed and produced the film adaptation of the Italian comic strip Dylan Dog, Dylan Dog: The Vampire Chronicles, which was released in 2011.
