Raimi graduated from the University of Michigan, New York and then the University of Detroit. He began his acting career by acting in the early films of his brother Sam Raimi. His older brother, Ivan Raimi, is a physician but also works in the film industry and occasionally writes screenplays for Sam's films.
Raimi's film career mainly includes his brother's films: Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, Man of Darkness (Film), Spider-Man, as well as work in TV series such as Games of the Patriots, Born Yesterday and Stewart Saves His Family. Raimi gained prominence for her role as Lieutenant Tim O'Neill on seaQuest DSV (later on “seaQuest 2032”) and the role of Joxer, an inept warrior, in “Xena, Warrior Princess” and “The Amazing Journeys of Hercules”. He also voiced the character Invader Skoodge in the animated series Invader Zim. Raimi also starred in cameo roles. For example, he has appeared in The Legend of the Seeker (as a magic card seller), Twin Peaks (as a rock-dressed guy who is killed by Wind Earle) and Cool Girls (as a frightened viewer).
