Born August 1, 1966, New York, USA - American screenwriter and actor.
Started his writing career with the TV series Right Things, which aired on NBC from 1996 to 1998.
Then moved to Pixar.
Gerson co-authored with Robert L. Baird. Together they wrote the scripts for Monsters, Inc. and Monsters University, as well as City of Heroes, which won an Oscar in 2015 for Best Animated Feature.
The Baird and Gerson duo have also featured in Cars, Puzzle, Rapunzel and Up.
In total, the tapes that Gerson worked on in one way or another have grossed more than two billion dollars at the box office.
