Born February 4, 1940 in Boston - American theater, film, and television actor.
Mother - Mary Shack (before marriage - Hamilton), father - Conrad John Shack Sr., professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo; immigrants from England and Germany.
John Schack graduated from Denison University, then worked for the theater companies Cleveland Play House and the American Conservatory Theater. Here Shack was noticed by the famous director Robert Altman, and since 1969, John Shack began to appear on television, since 1970 - on wide screens. In 1979, Shaq made his first appearance on the Broadway stage (Neil Simon Theater) as Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks in the musical "Annie" .
Until 1983 he was married to actress Susan Bay (born 1943), then a divorce followed, the couple have a son, Aaron.
