Born September 15, 1945, Whityer, California is an American screenwriter, director, producer, and actor.

A Santa Barbara High School graduate, Ron Shelton was a minor league baseball player for the Baltimore Orioles from 1967 to 1971 before starting a filmmaking career. Rochester Redwings.
