Born July 3, 1964, Raleigh, North Carolina is an American film director, actor, screenwriter, and producer.
Studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Reed directed the feature films Bring It On, Fuck Love! and "American Divorce"; all are comedy films.
In 2008, Reed directed the film Always Say Yes, starring Jim Carrey. This film is an adaptation of Danny Wallace's autobiographical novel about his decision to say yes to every offer, invitation, change, and opportunity offered.
On July 7, 2014, it was announced that Reed would replace Edgar Wright as the director of Ant-Man.
Added to the list of candidates to direct the upcoming biopic film about Brian Epstein, called "The Fifth Beetle".
