She was born in New York on April 9, 1984. Lily's mother is Ellen Mirojnik, costume designer and actress. Ellen has created costumes for the characters in the films GI Joe: The Cobra Shot 2 and Chaplin, for which she was awarded a BAFTA. Lily Mirozhnik's father is Barry Carson. Lily's parents divorced in 1987. The Mirozhnik family includes immigrants from Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean. Lily attended Buckley School (Sherman Oaks, California) at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
