Born February 23, 1952, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - American producer, screenwriter, director and actor.
Graduated from Brandeis University in 1973 and moved to Los Angeles in 1975, where he studied at the American Film Institute and met his future creative partner, Edward Zwick.
In 2007, he switched to the Internet, creating “quarterlife,” a popular online TV series and social network for creative youth, which debuted on MySpace. A year after the launch of its own website, its audience covered 60 countries of the world, and the series is currently the most successful script program in the history of the Internet.
Since 2005, has been a blogger for The Huffington Post.
An environmental activist, has served on the board of several organizations dedicated to conserving America's natural resources. He is one of the founders of the national 1Sky campaign.
