In October 2002, she appeared as a cyber girl on Playboy, and in 2008 was named a "rising star" of Playboy.
Bane has directed several music videos, notably for the metalcore band In This Moment and the country band The Clark Family Experience.
In 2003, Bane directed the short film Paper Doll, for which she also wrote the script. This film won three nominations at the SMMASH Film Festival: Best Short Film, Best Director and Best Actress.
