Born May 29, 1967, Opava, Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic) - Czech director, screenwriter, actor and teacher.

Immediately after school he entered the technical university to avoid military service. Fascinated by short films, he began filming them with a friend, then on the third try he entered the prestigious FAMU faculty in Prague. His short film Garden of Eden, filmed during his studies, has collected several prizes at student festivals. His graduation film, despite being 60 minutes long, White Acacia, was a commercial success in the Czech Republic.
