Born April 12, 1982, Santa Ana, California, USA - American mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter of Mexican origin. He is currently participating in battles under the auspices of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. World champion in the light weight category according to the WEC version (2004). Previously, he played in Strikeforce and twice became the lightweight champion of this organization (2006-2008, 2009-2013).
