When he was seven years old, he moved with his family to the United States. Danny's father is Italian by birth, and his mother was Moroccan by birth. He has two sisters, Natalie and Ellie. After living temporarily in Queens, New York, his family settled in California, in the San Fernando Valley, where Nucci graduated from Grant High School. In 2003 he married Paula Marshall and has two daughters from different marriages. Marshall and Nucci played lovers in It's an Old Feeling.
